Swimming Stroke Clinic Saturday August 26, 2017. 700a-900a
This camp will be held at the Cheyenne Mountain Aquatics Center in Colorado Springs, and will cater to triathletes and swimmers alike. This two hour clinic will focus on stroke mechanics, efficiency, body movement and balance, for both open water and pool swimmers alike. We'll also capture underwater video of every attendee and a time will be scheduled for every individual after the clinic to go over the video analysis and discuss your stroke and how to specifically remediate limiters.
Our goal is to provide the best instruction possible and ensure that all athletes walk away from this clinic not only feeling that they have learned something but that they can leave with information to take back with them and continue to progress.
To that point - upon completion of the clinic all attendees will receive a one month swim training plan that will include baseline testing, and workouts designed to work all pertinent energy systems.
The cost of this clinic is $45, and includes all in-water instruction, video analysis, and the one-month swimming training plan.

US Masters Swimming Adult Learn-To-Swim Instructor Clinic Saturday, October 14, 2017. San Antonio TX
More than a third of adults in the United States can’t swim the length of a pool, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which puts them at risk of being one of the 10 people who drown every day in this country.
U.S. Masters Swimming's Adult Learn-to-Swim initiative is on the front lines to change this statistic. With education, outreach, and financial support, USMS is making more adults safer around water.
The USMS Adult Learn-to-Swim (ALTS) instructor certification program curriculum is based on teaching methods practiced by leading adult learn-to-swim authorities. It incorporates the most innovative and effective training methods and gives certified instructors the tools to teach adults to swim, at a minimum, one length of a 25-yard pool and become safer in the water.
This one-day course, held on Saturday October 14, is classroom based. This one-day course consists of both classroom and in-water instruction. At the conclusion of the course, successful candidates will receive USMS-ALTS instructor certification
